There is little question that trends in the new economy have changed the way
business is done; with knowledge and skills now determining one’s competitive edge. To ensure regional talent possesses employability, academic and technical skills essential for high performance manufacturing; we want your feedback in the following areas:

-What are the largest knowledge/skill gaps among entry-level and
incumbent manufacturing employees?
-What barriers exist for manufacturing employees pursuing training and education?
-What manufacturing positions comprise the most critical workforce
shortages?
-What challenges are presented by changing demographics and employee
shortages?
-What challenges are presented by globalization?

We look forward to your participation as we strive to improve the workforce quality and enhance the economic vitality of the region. Please confirm your participation by contacting Laura Hardy at laura.hardy@southcentral.edu or 507-332-5802.
