For nearly twenty years, The Agribusiness Committee has gone brought the farm into the classroom and the classroom to the farm, to talk about agriculture, where food/goods come from, stress the importance of agriculture (careers) and of course see dairy cows, (goats, dogs and cats, too!) up close!
For the first time in TWO years, Faribault Public Schools (Lincoln & Roosevelt) students got the opportunity to tour a local farm, thanks to a grant from Community Coop and CHS. A very special thank you to the Bauer’s and Keller’s for their hospitality, and their support of this program over many years!
For over a hundred years, the Faribault Chamber has supported agriculture as a thriving, necessary sector in our community. Our Agribusiness committee is made up hardworking individuals, who’s mission is to and purpose is to promote Ag Education & Careers as well as advance and promote relationships between farm and business!
